The Good Space Peak PilateSystem™ Certification

The Good Space Pilates & Yoga Studio is Houston's exclusive Peak PilateSystem affiliate site.  We invite you to come and learn how to teach Pilates with a very professional staff and the most complete certification program available.  The Good Space owner, Melody Morton, and The Good Space trainers together represent Peak Pilates, assisting you with the most thorough of Pilates educations.

The Good Space and Peak Pilates use a truly different approach that teaches you how to teach and not just what to teach. Our certification programs focus on professional development and a deep understanding of the integrated, systematic approach to Pilates. This knowledge provides the solid foundation and confidence needed to become a successful Pilates instructor. Our Mission is to deliver Classical Pilates education that preserves the integrity of the Pilates method while making it accessible, affordable, progressive and user friendly.

The Peak Pilates Certification programs offer a modular educational pathway, allowing you to progress at your own pace, matching your education to the level of Pilates you wish to teach. Every Peak student, regardless of his/her fitness level or movement experience starts by learning the Introductory System. Mastering these essential exercises will create a foundation on which to progress to the next level.

Peak Pilates PPS Programs At-a-Glance

Pre-requisites

1.     A recognized qualification in anatomy & kinesiology either through a fitness certification or other course is highly recommended (but not required).

2.     Highly recommended at least 20 hours Pilates training including Classical Mat* or Peak Introductory Course

3.     Completed Registration and Peak approval
CPR/Current First Aid Certificate or International Equivalent

1.     Successful completion of PPS I plus 145 logged pre-requisite hours (broken into 60 hours of personal practice and 85 hours of teaching)
Note: A minimum of 3 months is suggested to complete pre-requisite logged hours

2.     CPR/Current First Aid Certificate or International Equivalent

1.     Successful completion of PPS II.

2.     CPR/Current First Aid Certificate or International Equivalent

  • The instructor education will take place at:  The Good Space, 5757 Woodway, Suite 150, Houston, TX.  
  • PPS1 times are Fridays & Saturdays 12:00pm-7:00pm, and Sundays 9:00am-4:00pm. Please contact us for PPS2 & 3 times.  
  • Participants will be chosen on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • Instructor education limited to 12 participants.  The Good Space reserves the right to cancel an instructor education session if there are less than the minimum number of registered participants.
  • NO REFUND for cancellations less than two weeks before instructor education date.
  • Students will not be admitted to class if payment has not been received.
  • YOU DO NOT NEED prior anatomy/kinesiology knowledge. This is taught within the program.
